Why us

True North planned the access around a busy working site and coordinated well with the other trades. The installation felt organised, safe and professionally handled.

Roof & elevation access

Different trades need different access. Roofing work may need platforms at eaves and chimney level, while rendering, brickwork or window replacement can require several working lifts across the elevation. The scaffold is arranged around what is actually being done, not just the shape of the building.

  • Roofing, chimney and gutter access
  • Multiple lifts for brickwork, rendering or cladding
  • Returns and access around extensions or awkward elevations

Fully boarded working platforms

A scaffold is more than a frame of tubes. The working setup can include fully boarded platforms, guard rails, toe boards, ladder access, ties and other components needed to create usable access at height. The exact arrangement depends on the building, ground conditions and the work taking place.

  • Boarded working platforms at the required heights
  • Guard rails, toe boards and controlled ladder access
  • Ties and structural components suited to the installation

Alterations as the job progresses

The scaffold has to fit the programme as well as the building. We agree the access required, arrange erection around the site, make alterations when the work changes and then dismantle once the scaffold is no longer needed. For larger jobs, this can be coordinated around several trades and different stages of the project.

  • Erection arranged around your start date and site access
  • Alterations available as the project progresses
  • Dismantling organised when the work is complete

Entrances & routes kept clear

Scaffolding often has to sit around places that still need to function. Doorways, paths, driveways, loading areas and entrances can all affect the layout. Where the site allows, the scaffold is arranged so people and trades can continue moving around the property without losing the access they still need.

  • Entrances and pedestrian routes considered in the layout
  • Working areas kept practical for the trades using the scaffold
  • Access coordinated around occupied or live parts of the site
